CMCO: Immigration counters in Sabah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya to close

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 13 -- The service counters of the Immigration Departments of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be closed from tomorrow until Oct 27 while the closure in Sabah began today until Oct 26.
Its director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud, in a statement today, said the move was in line with the decision of the government to enforce the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in the states and areas concerned.
‘’In this regard, all transactions and appointments which have been made during the period through the Online Appointment System (STO) are postponed,’’ he said.
Nevertheless, Khairul Dzaimee said all online transactions were still running as normal.
‘’Members of the public are not allowed to go to the immigration offices involved except for emergencies which have been referred to in advance,’’ he said.
