KAJANG: Police have launched a manhunt for a married couple who were alleged to have raped, sexually abused and brutally assaulted a 16-year-old girl.

The couple were also said to have beaten up the girl's 18-year-old boyfriend.

All the crimes were alleged to have taken place over the course of more than two months at the couple's unit at the Bukit Mewah flats here.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the female victim, a school dropout, left her home and went with her boyfriend to live with the couple.

He said the man, who is the girl's adoptive brother, and his wife took the teens to live in Melaka between February and June.

The ordeal, however, only began when the four returned from Melaka in July, when the man offered the teens jobs at his scrap metal yard in Bandar Teknologi Kajang.

Since then, the couple from hell frequently abused the younger couple by hitting them with sticks, pipes, metal rods, and clothes hangers if they failed to meet work expectations.

The man also raped the teenage girl several times. This victim was also forced to perform oral sex on his wife.

Dzaffir said the victim's boyfriend fled the suspects' home last month.

He said, on Oct 3, the victim managed to escape from the scrapyard with the help of a good Samaritan.

On Monday, she lodged a police report. She was sent to Kajang Hospital for a medical check where doctors confirmed she had been raped.

"They also found scars and fresh wounds on her right ear, neck, back, both arms and both legs, confirming that she had been abused."
