IPOH: A woman’s good intention of helping her husband, who was having difficulty getting out of bed to pee, left him with a bigger problem instead.

The 29-year-old could not remove his penis from a 500ml water bottle after urinating.

The couple tried for almost 14 hours to get it out on their own before they gave up and summoned for help.

Taiping fire station chief Hasna Rashid said the victim, who is a slow learner, was sleeping when he felt the urge to go to the bathroom at about 10pm on Sunday.

“So, she thought of giving him a bottle to relieve himself.

“But the tip of the victim’s penis ended up getting stuck inside,” Hasna said, adding the couple decided to seek help when he could not endure the pain anymore.

Hasna said firemen managed to remove the bottle using special tools.

The victim has been warded at the Taiping Hospital for observation and his penis is not injured.
