KUALA LUMPUR: Two robbers were shot while making away with the stolen loots after breaking into a house at Persiaran Syed Putra early morning, today.
Brickfields police chief ACP Muhammad Azlee Abdullah said in the 5am incident one of the robbers succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while another was injured in the shootout with the police.
"We received a distress call tipping of about a break in at about 5am and a police CID response team rushed to the scene.
"Upon seeing police presence the robbers fired several shots at the offficers,disabling two of the three suspects," he said.
Azlee said however a third suspect is on the run and police have started a man hunt on him.
