PETALING JAYA: A girl, clad only in bra and panties, and an Indian national believed to be her lover, were found dead with multiple stab wounds at an apartment unit in Damansara Damai, near here.
The police said the pair had been dead for about four to six days before their bodies were found by a debt collector who went there for the monthly rental at about 1pm on Wednesday.
A knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found beside the body of the man, who was lying face down in the living room.
Police carrying two decomposed bodies out of Lestari Apartment on Wednesday. Lovers Mohinder Pal, 24 and K. Shanmugavalli, 18, were reportedly stabbed to death and have been dead for a few days.

The man, identified as construction worker Mohinder Pal, 24, had seven stab wounds while the girl, K. Shanmugavalli, 18, was found sprawled on a bed in the master bedroom with five stab wounds in the abdomen.
It is learnt that the girl had been missing from home since Dec 13 and her family had lodged a report at the Puchong police station.
Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abd Rahim Jaafar said their initial investigations found the girl’s parents had not consented to the pair’s relationship.
“We are investigating the case from all angles, including the possible motive of jealousy,” he said.
DCP Abdul Rahim said the man had rented the unit for about two months.
The debt collector had to force open the front door of the unit to get into the apartment, he said.
“There are no signs of a break-in other than the lock that was broken by the debt collector,” DCP Abdul Rahim said, adding that the police would check whether any items were missing from the unit.
Shanmugavalli’s family claimed her body at the Sungai Buloh Hospital yesterday.
Meanwhile, Petaling Jaya OCPD Supt Fadil Marsus said the police are close to capturing three more suspects in the murder of 22-year-old college student Dickson Wong.
One suspect was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.
“We assure the public that we take this case seriously and will not let the culprits go scot-free,” Supt Fadil said.
Wong, a victim of snatch thieves, died at University Malaya Medical Centre on Oct 28.
He was in a coma for two days following an assault by a group of motorcyclists in an alley near Taman Mayang here.
