9 Month Old Baby Allegedly Raped By Teenage Neighbour Boy, Internet Pornography Could Be Root Cause

Nine-month-old baby allegedly raped by teenage boy

The case of the baby who was allegedly raped by a neighbour’s teenage son had been referred to the Malacca Action Group for Parents in Education (Magpie).
The baby’s 27-year-old mother from Taman Desa Ria in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, who works as a clerk, claimed that she found bloodstains on her daughter’s diapers when she was cleaning her at their home on Tuesday night.
The shocked mother then checked her daughter for any bodily injuries and saw that the infant was bleeding from her vagina.
The baby had earlier been sent to a neighbour’s house at about 8.30pm when the assault was believed to have been committed.
During a check-up at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, doctors informed the mother that her daughter could have been raped.
The mother then lodged a report at the Dang Wangi police station the same night.
Magpie chairman Mak Chee Hin said Magpie had been updated with cases involving young sexual victims and predators following the shocking revelation of a case involving a six-year-old who was raped by an 11-year-old at a babysitter’s home in Alor Gajah on Nov 7.
Mak said the alleged rape case in Petaling Jaya could be linked to youngsters watching unsavoury websites.
“From what we gathered, the clerk had been sending her child to her neighbour’s house since (the child’s) birth and the attack could not likely be committed by a paedophile but probably a teenager who may have watched pornographic films on sites that are widely available on the Internet,” he said.
He also added that Magpie had been lobbying for stringent rules on Internet access for children.
