Mustafa Khan's name may be familiar to social media users where he often reminds people not to get caught and trapped by loans offered by unlicensed moneylenders or Ah Long.
In a recent video that went viral, he helped a victim along who needed help because a certain Ah Long had asked for an absurd return.
According to Mustafa, he received a complaint from a victim of Ah Long where he had made a loan of only RM1,500. However, despite paying RM4,000 (including interest), the ah long is still not satisfied and wants to demand another RM12,000 from the victim.
Ah Long also once entered the victim's house and seized the victim's ah long as a form of 'extortion'.
Mustafa also asked the ah long involved if he had a license and an agreement before giving loans to the public. Throughout the video, the ah long is seen to be angry but unable to say anything.
At the end of the video, Mustafa offers an 'amicable' solution with the concerned ah long to get the victim's laptop back.
Going to the comment section, many people thanked Mustafa who had the courage to defend the victims of ah long who had to pay back their debts with an absurd payment rate.
No less many people reminded Mustafa to be careful so as not to face any problems in the future.
Mustafa had previously often told the public not to get involved in the ah long loan trap and if anyone has become a victim, they can contact him so he can help solve the problem.
