The Five Star New World Petaling Jaya Hotel is proving to be a hidden gem of PJ when it comes to buka puasa buffets and delicious food. Their Santapan Warisan Ramadan Buffet- provides a Ramadan Buka Puasa buffet that not only "looks good' but taste good' ! 

You can break your fast with 100+ mouth-watering dishes of local and traditional Malaysian delicacies.

We reviewed the fare last night, it was overall A Big Thumbs Up! 99% of the food was delicious and spot on. It looked great and tasted even better. Food was simply delicious!.


As usual we headed for the Roast Lamb section first. The lamb was so tender, succulent and one of the best dishes of the night.

We then headed for the satay section- it was one of the best we have had in KL, The Satay Sauce was made to perfection. The lemang and rendang was good too. 

The Hidangan Panas Melayu | Malay Hot Section were simply amazing, the taste was so authentic.

The Nasi Kandar Section was a crowd favourite, food here was as if you were in a Penang Nasi Kandar Outet. It looked good and taste good

They had some of the biggest Soup Gear Box that I have seen, that was so good, one of the reviewers asked for it to be taken home.

The Indian Section was simply amazing . The tandoori chicken was moist and full of flavor. They have very authentic Indian food.

The Steam Chicken Rice Section was another major crowd favourite!

The Noodles Section  was another crowd favourite as people lined up for their Curry Laksa  and other noodle dishes

For Dessert, they offer a wide variety that will keep everyone happy. 

They had a good Selection Of Dates too. The malay traditional kuih was so tasty. The cakes at this buffet was as good as what u can get from Secret Recipe!

Overall it was a five star buka puasa experience. The F&B team has done a very good job in giving diners some tasty fare for their buka puasa for a decent rate considering it is a five star hotel.
