Mak Cun thrills fans at #GegaRia Fest 2018

IPOH: The lively atmosphere at the #GegaRia Fest 2018 held at the Bulatan Amanjaya here today, became even more so with the appearance of Mak Cun.
The fictional television character played by award-winning actress and director Erma Fatima is the mentor celebrity for the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation’s (MDEC) #YOUCANDUIT digital campaign.

During her appearance at the main stage of the day-long carnival, organised by Media Prima Bhd, Erma shared with visitors the benefit of programmes under the campaign.
“The programmes under the campaign such as eUsahawan and eRezeki have helped many entrepreneurs generate more income for their business through the digital platform.
“To those who want to know more about the programmes speak to our consultants here,” she said.
Erma later spent time to give more information on the programme and entertain her fans as well as followers of Mak Cun at the #YOUCANDUIT booth.

MDEC vice-president (corporate affairs), Razaleigh Zainal said the corporation is targeting to reach out to more people for the campaign through their participation in the #GegaRia fest.
The corporation, he said, aimed to enrol and train more than 250,000 people under the campaign’s eUsahawan, eRezeki and Global Online Workforce (GLOW) workforce this year. © New Straits Times Press
