Massive jam on MRR2 due to burst pipe

KUALA LUMPUR: A massive traffic congestion has occurred at KM5 of MRR2 Expressway from Ulu Klang to Ampang due to a burst pipe near Dataran Ukay this morning. A spokesperson for the Integrated Transport Information System (ITIS) Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said the pipe ruptured and caused a mini flood at the MRR2’s three-lane route near Dataran Ukay. It is learnt that the pipe broke about 5am, which forced the left lane to be closed off to traffic. The route was still under water as at 9.30am causing the massive traffic snarl.
