Congratulations are in order for Malaysian singer Yuna who married her sweetheart Adam Sinclair today (Jan 26). The solemnisation ceremony took place at a resort in Puncak Rimba, Bentong, Pahang.
Seven trays of hantaran (gifts) were presented by the groom, while Yuna’s family handed in nine trays of hantaran in return. Three hundred of the bride and groom’s family members and close friends were on hand to witness the ceremony. Yuna wore a beautiful white dress by celebrated fashion designer Hatta Dolmat, who also collaborated with the singer on her engagement outfit last year.

YunaYuna and Adam, who started dating in 2015, got engaged in August 2017. The 31-year-old singer described Adam, 33, as her best friend. “I’m so happy that I found Adam; he has a wonderful heart, he’s very responsible and respectful of my parents. He is my best friend and he brought so much joy and laughter into my life, and I’m very excited to embark on this new journey with him,” Yuna said back in August.
Adam, who is the younger brother of actor Ashraf Sinclair, is a director who has won the Best Short Film award at the Malaysia Film Festival in 2012 for his work, Sanzaru. He has also directed Yuna’s music video for the song Pulang.
