DBI properties Boy Iman Remanded Again

KUALA LUMPUR: DBI Properties managing director Datuk Nuruliman A. Rahman was today remanded again to assist in investigations into fraudulent bungalow project.

Nuruliman, 37, fondly known as Datuk Boy Iman, will be remanded for two days till tomorrow.

Ampang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hamzah Alias said the arrest was made after a woman lodged a police report claiming that she was cheated by the company.

“The victim said she has paid RM10,000 in cash and transferred RM50,000 to the company for a bungalow construction project in June last year.

“She claimed that the house had yet to be built,” he said in a statement today.

Hamzah said the suspect was arrested at Bukit Indah police station yesterday when he had his statement recorded.

The case was being investigated for cheating.

In October last year the actor was arrested over a probe into property scam involving RM6.2 million.
