The 14 second video clip shows a motorist in a white car waiting at a junction, about to make a right turn as the traffic light changes. Without warning, another car suddenly appears in the middle of the road.
The white car can be seen hitting the brakes but is too close to avoid crashing into the side of the other vehicle which appeared out of nowhere.
Many viewers have watched the footage again and again, trying to see where the car comes from.
"Seriously, I kept repeating the video, it seems the car appears out of nowhere," Elfie De Souza wrote.

Perhaps a more plausible explanation is given by one viewer who gave a detailed analysis of his observation.
"The car didnt come from nowhere. it was just blocked from the cam view. if you looked carefully, you can actually see the top of the car before the white car made the turn...white car probably thought it was going to turn left or going to stop since the lights are amber...the error in judgement is going to cost him/her," Joseph Lee concluded.
