Honda Malaysia Appoints Ishiyama New MD, CEO

KUALA LUMPUR – Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has appointed Toichi Ishiyama as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), taking over from Katsuto Hayashi, effective Nov 1, 2017.
“Ishiyama is currently the President and CEO of Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd,” Honda Malaysia said in a statement today.
It said aside from from Pakistan, Ishiyama had held various roles in Japan, US, Thailand and China.
“With more than 20 years of experience in researching markets and product planning, Ishiyama’s experience is an advantage towards ensuring that Honda Malaysia continues its strong momentum as the number one non-national vehicle brand and number two in overall total industry volume,” it said.
