Petrol, diesel prices up from midnight

KUALA LUMPUR: From midnight tonight, petrol prices will see a hike of three sen, while diesel prices will increase by five sen.
RON95 petrol will be priced at RM2.19 per litre, while RON97 will retail at RM2.49 per litre.
Diesel will be priced at RM2.17 per litre.
The fuel prices for the last week of September was RM2.16 per litre for RON 95, RM2.46 for RON97 and RM2.12 for diesel.
The new fuel prices, made available by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry is for the period of Oct 5 to 11.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was implemented in April this year. A managed monthly float system for fuel prices had been in effect since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies
