Duo plead not guilty to impersonating palace officials
PETALING JAYA: Two men have claimed trial to a charge of allegedly impersonating palace officials to escape the police.
Siblings Pong Ah Choy, 44, and Pong Kim Seng, 41, pleaded not guilty at the magistrate’s court on Friday to attempting to fool a police officer by flashing a yellow card, supposedly from the Kelantan palace.
The two men are charged with having committed the offence on Feb 24 at a Shell petrol station along Maju Jaya, Puchong.
The duo are alleged to have flashed a yellow card labelled “Pertubuhan Keturunan Raja Kelantan Asal” (Kelantan Royal Family Organisation) when stopped by Lance Corporal Mohd Yusof Nor.
