SHAH ALAM: A headmaster of a primary school pleaded not guilty on two counts of accepting a bribe totaling RM4,400 two years ago in the Sessions Court here today, reports a local Malay-language daily.
M. Subramaniam, 55, was charged under Section 165 of the Penal Code for receiving a cheque of RM1,500 and RM2,900 cash from a canteen operator, K. Devega on January 20, 2014 and October 8 on the same year.

Judge Selamat Yahya set bail at RM5,000 with one surety and ordered the accused to surrender his international passport to the court.
