Tabung Harapan breaks RM200mil mark

PETALING JAYA: Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) has broken the RM200mil mark in seven months, just a week before it officially closes on Dec 31.
The Finance Ministry announced this in a post on its official Facebook page on Wednesday (Dec 26).
"Well done Malaysians," they said.
On Sunday (Dec 22), Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the National Audit Department Malaysia will audit the fund's Account Receipt and Payment Statement to ensure that the fund is managed with integrity.
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad then announced the setting up of the fund to accept contributions from the public who wanted to ease the Government's financial situation.
