Tabung Haji COO Adi Azuan arrested, to be brought to court Wednesday (Dec 19) (Updated)

PETALING JAYA: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) Chief Operating Officer Datuk Adi Azuan Abdul Ghani (pic) has been arrested and is expected to be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Putrajaya for a remand order Wednesday (Dec 19) at 9am.
His arrest is believed to be in connection with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigation surrounding the use of Tabung Haji's Interior Decorator contractor company (AG Reka) to build wardrobes at his house.
TH had, on Nov 30, lodged a police report over the misuse of the pilgrim fund’s monies and for misrepresentation in a corporate deal.
TH had lodged two reports against former office holders, namely former chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, former chief executive officers, Tan Sri Ismee Ismail and Datuk Seri Johan Abdullah, Adi Azuan, chief financial officer Datuk Rozaida Omar, legal adviser Hazlina Mohd Khalid and senior general manager for corporate services and real estate Rifina Md Ariff.
