KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 ― The police has released the photo-fit of the two suspects in the murder of Palestinian Dr Fadi Mohammed al-Batsh in Setapak here two days ago, to all the exit points in the country.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said both sketches were drawn based on statements obtained from witnesses that have come forward to render their assistance.

“Both suspects are about 180cm tall and have fair complexion, believed to be Middle Eastern or European descent. One of them has a long beard on his chin.

“Both were seen wearing dark jackets and carried backpacks on their high-powered motorcycles during the incident,” he said at a press conference at the Malaysian Police Training Centre.

The recording of his remark was made available to Malay Mail.

Fuzi also said the post-mortem conducted at Hospital Selayang concluded the 35-year-old victim died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso after 14 bullet slugs were found.

He was however unable to confirm if the suspects were still in the country and have sought the Immigration Department’s help to keep a lookout of the suspects based on the photofits released.
