Negri MB may be returned unopposed after Pakatan candidate not allowed entry

REMBAU: Three term Rantau incumbent Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan may be returned unopposed as his sole challenger from Pakatan Harapan Dr Streram Sinnasamy (pic) was not allowed entry into Dewan Sri Rembau as he did not have a candidate pass from the Election Commission.
With 20 minutes to go, Dr Streram was still unable to enter the hall to file his nomination papers.
His proposer and seconder were also not allowed entry as both did not have EC passes.
EC officials have yet to make an announcement on the matter.
Mohamad, who is state Barisan chief, has served as Mentri Besar for three terms
