Dr M: Pakatan needs big margins to ensure no ‘jeopardising’ of its wins

IPOH: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the people’s votes are more important than ever as Pakatan Harapan will need to secure tens of thousands of a majority to capture Putrajaya.
“A winning majority of only 1,000 to 2,000 is dangerous for us. If we have much more than that, it will then be harder for the other side to jeopardise our victory,” he said.
Mahathir was speaking to a crowd who gathered at Bandar Universiti, Seri Iskandar for the “Ceramah Mega Pakatan Harapan – Parlimen Parit P069”.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) is set to stand in two state seats under Parit parliament and one state seat under Kuala Kangsar parliament in Perak in the polls.=
Parit Pribumi Youth chief Azrul Hakkim Azhar will contest the Bota state seat, while party member Yahanis Yahya is fielded for Belanja.
As for the Manong state seat, Kuala Kangsar Pribumi member Mohd Isa Jaafar will be contesting.
