GOLD COAST: Weightlifter Mohd Aznil Bidin enjoyed a memorable outing in the Commonwealth Games by winning gold in the men’s below 62kg category.

The 24-year-old Aznil from Kedah lifted 126kg in snatch and 162kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 288kg at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre on Thursday.
