Woman collapses and falls onto LRT tracks at Damai station

KUALA LUMPUR: A female passenger fainted and fell onto the tracks at the Damai LRT station on Thursday morning.
Rapid KL said on its Twitter account @MyRapidKL that the woman was rescued and given medical assistance following the incident at 7.46am.
The mishap caused disruption to the LRT service, leaving commuters stranded.
"Station Damai is closed for safety at the moment. Train will be in alternate service. We are sending buses to ferry passengers. Follow updates.
"We are sending empty trains to KL Sentral and Setiawangsa to ease crowd," RapidKL said
