Artistes show off luxury cars on social media

A NUMBER of Malaysian artistes have taken to social media to show off their luxury cars, with many defending their lifestyle.
For 24-year-old actress Miera Liyana, the postings give her a sense of fulfilment.
She owns cars such as Mercedes-Benz and Mini Cooper.
“I worked hard to own my dream car,” Metro Ahad quoted her as saying.
“My first car was a Mini Cooper when I was just 17 and I had a BMW a year later. Now, I am driving a Mercedes SLK and a Mercedes CLA. All these cars were bought from the result of my own hard work,” said Miera, who now wishes to own a Bugatti Veron.
Season Five Akademi Fantasia winner Mila Jirin, who has a fleet of luxury cars such as a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, a Toyota Vellfire and a BMW 3 Series M-Sport, said she had always wanted to own these vehicles.
“This is more for self-satisfaction; it’s to have the experience of driving a luxury car.
“It’s not just about the price because some of these cars are limited editions,” said Mila, who is now interested in getting a Range Rover SVAutobiography.
