Cops come to the rescue of hit-and-run victim

SERDANG: Two police personnel came to the rescue of a man who was a victim of a hit-and-run incident.
The duo, from the Serdang police station, took the victim to a nearby clinic to receive treatment after he fell off his motorcycle after being hit by another vehicle on Wednesday morning.
The victim's daughter Charlene Chea expressed her gratitude to the policemen through a Facebook posting.
In her post, Charlene wrote that she was thankful the policemen had come to her father's rescue.
"Initially, no one helped my father but luckily the policemen in their MPV (mobile patrol vehicle) were in the neighbourhood.
"One of them took him to a clinic while another brought his motorcycle home," she said.
