KUALA LUMPUR: The 10 individuals involved in the fracas in Parliament have surrendered to the police, says Comm Datuk Amar Singh.

The City police chief said that they along with another woman surrendered themselves at about 10.15am on Friday.

"They are being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.

"We also hope those with information or other evidence of the incident can come forward," he said in a statement on Friday.

The individuals who surrendered after being called up by police are Firdaus Tajuddin, Mohd Rizal Shafie, Ariffin Mohamed, Hasnah Md Razali, Erwan Halmi, Sapiah Aini Sulaiman, Norfirdaus Ahmad Zanian, Azmir Ahmad, Mohd Saffek Mohd Saleh and Mohd Faizal Saidina Omar.

Norbaiti Taha, who had not been named by police, also surrendered on Friday.
