Teen killed friend over divorcee

TANGKAK: A fit of jealousy drove a teenager to brutally murder and chop up his friend into several parts near Kampung Kesang Laut here.
It is learnt that the victim and the teenager had argued over a divorcee several days before the chopped up parts were found by a passer-by.
It is also learnt that the jealous 19-year-old had told the victim not to continue his relationship with the woman.
Tangkak OCPD Supt Mohad Idris Samsuri said the suspect, who has no previous criminal records, had committed the murder four days ago.
He added that checks also showed that the victim, who is yet to be identified, was believed to have been killed in another location.
“Both the suspect and victim are locals and we are still investigating the motive, their relationship and the other possible causes of the murder,” he said adding that the body has been sent to Malacca Hospital for post-mortem.
He urged those with information to contact the state police hotline at 07-2212999.
It was reported that the police found the chopped up body of a teenage boy in five plastic bags.
The head was discovered a few metres away, buried near Kampung Kesang Laut here on Sunday.
