Sanjeevan arrested for using fake academic qualifications
PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Crime Watch (MyWatch) chairman Datuk R. Sri Sanjeevan (pic) has been arrested yet again - this time for allegedly using fakeacademic qualifications.
Sanjeevan was arrested outside Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo's office in Medan Damansara around 6.15pm Wednesday.
When contacted shortly after the arrest, Sanjeevan said he has been arrested but was not sure on what charges.
Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani also confirmed the arrest.
"Sanjeevan is being investigated under Section 420 and Section 417 of the Penal Code for using fake academic qualifications with the intent of cheating," he said when contacted Wednesday.
