PETALING JAYA: Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has handed over a pendrive containing a report on the Football Association of Malaysia to Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

"HRH Crown Prince of Johor decided to hand over the pendrive as HRH does not have any problem with FAM anymore and also stated that FAM is not HRH's problem. HRH only wishes to take care of his small club, JDT. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor (Expand your power, Johor)," read a post on Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page.

Tunku Ismail granted Khairy an audience Friday at Istana Bukit Pelangi, Johor Baru.

They discussed youth development programmes and shared opinions on current football issues.

In July, Tunku Ismail said he has a pendrive containing evidence of corruption in FAM going back 30 years.

He had claimed that the pendrive was given to him by high-ranking friends in Kuala Lumpur.

FAM had said that Tunku Ismail could report the matter to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and that it would meet with the Prince on the issue.

Following the expose, Khairy held meetings with FAM president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah to find ways to solve the problems plaguing the country's main football body.

On Aug 15, FAM announced that Tengku Abdullah will remain as president until its next congress, which is expected to be brought forward from 2018 to next year.
