It’s safe to say 2014 was the year of the selfie. We had selfies, belfies, helfies and even the selfie stick *shudders*.

But there’s a new digital craze in town that’s threatening to knock the selfie off its top dog spot, and its name is ‘Dubsmash’.

Dubsmash is an app which allows you to combine selfie videos with famous quotes. Users can pick an audio recording of a well-known quote from a film or song and then film themselves lip-syncing along to it.

Like a selfie but with sound and movement.
