"See You Again" is a song by American rapper Wiz Khalifa featuring the vocals and piano playing of American singer Charlie Puthon the hook. The song is featured in the 2015 action film Furious 7 as a final tribute to Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013. The single was released on March 17, 2015 in the US, followed by an international release on April 3, and a UK release on April 12.[4]
The song holds the record for the most-streamed track in a single day on Spotify in the United States (streamed 4.2 million times on April 13, 2015), and also set the record for most streams in a single week in 26 countries during April 6 to April 12 (streamed 21.9 million times),[5][6] and also in the U.K. in a single week (streamed 3.72 million times from April 20 to April 26, 2015).[7] "See You Again" was a huge international success, reaching number one in seventeen countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States where it ended the fourteen-week reign of Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" over the Billboard Hot 100.
