PETALING JAYA: Traffic along the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) remained slow at 1.11pm Tuesday despite a trailer which overturned earlier in the day at KM7.7 having been removed.
In a tweet, Star Radio Traffic (@mytraffic) said “LDP: traffic is still at a crawl fr the Sunway Toll-SS2 ; also busy fr Puchong Perdana-IOI Mall.”
This follows an earlier tweet by the Malaysian Highways Authority (LLM) which noted that traffic remained backed up despite the vehicle which overturned at the Kelana Jaya-Damansra Utama underpass being cleared.
LLM’s tweet followed a post by KL Traffic Update (@kltrafficuptdate) at 12.13pm that read “side-turned trailer in Damansara Utama Tunnel still being cleared, traffic backed up from Sunway Toll.”
It is learnt that the trailer overturned at around 7am, Tuesday.
Netizens such as @saladinMY took to Twitter to air their grievances.
“Forgot to tweet about this..This morning, traffic was hell for some people using LDP towards BU from KJ,. Cauz of overturned container..”,he posted.
Another, @pamellalim tweeted “Mother of all traffic jams on LDP. Just don’t. Seriously.”
