Robber Shot Dead After Robbing Bungalow
SHAH ALAM: A robber who had just robbed a bungalow at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf Club (KGSAAS), here, was shot dead when he attacked a policeman early this morning.
The dead and his three accomplices were hiding in a ditch some 500-metres away from the bungalow at KM7.8 NKVE (Kuala Lumpur bound) when they were spotted by two policemen in a patrol car who responded to the victim's call at 4am this morning.
Shah Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Azisman Alias said the four suspects were believed to be waiting to be picked up by their friend in a Toyata Hilux when they were spotted by the police.
"Seeing that the police was there, one of them, armed with a machete attacked one of the cops and was shot dead.
"The Hilux fled the scene and the three other suspects ran into the oil palm plantation near Bukit Jelutong to avoid arrest.
"All four are believed to be Indonesian nationals and we are now searching for the three suspects who escaped," he said when met at the scene.
