District police chief Assistant Commissioner Arjunaidi Mohamed said police have also recovered evidences to build a case, including a dumbell used to murder the victim - Ng Yuk Tim.
"The suspect was also cooperating with police.
"Post-mortem conducted on the victim's body yesterday found that she was not raped. However, there are analysis being conducted by experts," he told reporters during a press conference in the district police headquarters, here, earlier today.
Yuk Tim was reported missing on Monday after she failed to return to her family house in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras, after going for a drink with a group of friends in Kelana Jaya that afternoon.
Her body was found on Tuesday in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam - stuffed inside a luggage, after one of her friends confessed to murdering her after being confronted by a former police officer, who is also the chairman of Selangor Community Policing Association.
The chairman Kuan Chee Heng had spotted a bite mark, besides other injuries, on the suspect's hand when they had a meeting to search for Yuk Tim in Kelana Jaya on Tuesday.
He then asked the 23-year-old suspect about the injuries, before talking him to telling the truth.
It was reported that Yuk Tim had followed the suspect, who was among the circle of friends - who shared similar hobby in cosplay, to his house in Kampung Cempaka to make a costume's helmet.
However, the suspect had tried to rape her - before a scuffle ensued.
The suspect had confessed to hitting the victim's head using a dumbell during the scuffle.
