2 MEN TIED UP, WITH THEIR HEADS WRAPPED IN PLASTIC BAG FOUND DEAD IN CAR BOOT IN R&R AREA

GRUESOME DISCOVERY: 2 men found tied up with their heads wrapped in plastic bags

BAGAN SERAI: A STRONG stench and flies swarming the boot of a car, which was left at the Alor Pongsu rest and recreation (R&R) area of the North-South Expressway southbound near here, led to the discovery of two male bodies.
It was learnt that the bodies were found with their hands and legs bound, while their heads were wrapped with plastic bags at 4pm yesterday by policemen.
Initial information gathered from the public and expressway workers revealed that the Proton Waja was left at the scene since Thursday evening.
The victims were identitied as Ting Liong Chin, 28, from Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, and Seu Hong Chee, 19, from Kepong.
According to sources, the victims had left Penang on Wednesday heading towards an unknown destination.
It was believed that they were murdered at another location before their bodies were left at the R&R area. Illegal money-lending activity is believed to be the motive behind the double murder.
