BSN continues to offer financing rescheduling package, repayment assistance

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) today said it is still continuing with its Financing Rescheduling Package as well as Targeted Repayment Assistance (TRA) programme to assist customers who face financial difficulties in paying their monthly loan or financing instalments.

Chief executive Jay Khairil Jeremy in a statement said customers who are in need of such assistances can apply for the packages offered by BSN.

He said there are still many customers who are affected by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic although it has afflicted the country for over one year, and the situation is becoming devastating with rising cases recorded in the country leading to the imposition of the latest Movement Control Order.

"Hence, we are urging customers who still need assistance to immediately apply for the packages offered by BSN," he said.

BSN also stressed that any payment assistance taken by the customers will not affect their status in the Central Credit Reference Information System.

The applications for BSN Financing Rescheduling Package and Targeted Repayment Assistance Programme can be made via the bank's website at https://www.bsn.com.my/page/TRA.
