Private vehicles will be limited to two people from the same household |

PUTRAJAYA, May 30 -- The capacity of private vehicles will be limited to two people from the same household, including the driver, for the purpose of obtaining food supplies and basic necessities throughout the total lockdown’s first phase from June 1-14.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said as for health and medical purposes, the maximum capacity allowed is only three people including patients.
“Movement is also limited to a radius not exceeding 10 kilometres from the residence, but if services are not within that radius, movement is allowed to the place closest to the residence," he said in a press conference here today on the details of the lockdown’s standard operating procedures (SOP).
Also, during the 14-day period, non-contact recreational activities conducted individually are allowed, but limited to open spaces and only involving exercise and jogging in the neighbourhood area from 7 am to 8 pm.
Ismail Sabri also said that operations of private child care centres and kindergartens, and those in international and expatriate schools and mind development centres for children aged 4 to 6 are allowed to cater only for frontliners and households with both parents working.
