Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa announced that public parks under the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be reopened with SOP compliance.
He said the decision was made after considering all aspects, including feedback following the closure of public parks that were not in line with the NSC which had allowed certain leisure activities.
"Leisure activities are allowed such as jogging and cycling (limited to two people). So, where do you want them to go if the public parks are closed ?"
"As such, we decided that public parks should be opened but regulated. The SOP must be complied with," he said.
