SERDANG: A newborn baby boy was found abandoned inside the prayer room of a petrol station in Taman Equine, Seri Kembangan.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Megat Mohamad Aminuddin Megat Alias said the baby was discovered by a customer at 7.26am on Wednesday.

"The baby was found alive and well with his umbilical cord still intact. He has been sent to the Serdang Hospital for further treatment," he said.

ACP Megat urged anyone with information to contact Serdang police as soon as possible.
