Pastor Koh's abduction 'similar to police operation' but definitely not police says Selangor CID Chief

SAC Fadzil: Pastor Koh's abduction 'similar to police operation'
KUALA LUMPUR: The tactics used in the abduction of Pastor Koh were similar to those used in a police operation, a senior police officer told an inquiry.

"This is what I can say. Actually all police operations are organised. We even plan incoming and exit routes.
"If we look at this video (the video of the abduction) then it looked like a police operation.
"It is the same in terms of tactical operation. It has a similar tactical operational pattern," Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat told the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) public inquiry on the disappearances of Koh and three others on Thursday (Nov 23).
He said the way Koh was abducted looked tactically similar to a police operation from the way the cars were lined up to stop Koh's car.
He also agreed that the manner in which the abduction was executed was meticulously planned.
"The police force use this method as well," he said, adding that those behind the abduction had to be trained.
When further questioned on the possibility that the abduction was carried out by a unit from the police force, SAC Fadzil replied "definitely no".
Asked if there was a unit from the police force that carried out the abduction but he was not informed, he said "not likely".
"If it was a police operation, we would know," he said.
Koh, 63, was abducted from his car by a group of men along Jalan SS4B/10 in Petaling Jaya on Feb 13 at about 11am while on his way to a friend's house.
His silver-coloured car bearing the number plate ST5515D has not been found.
