Ratu Naga pelted with raw eggs and paint
PETALING JAYA: Blogger Ratu Naga who went to Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos’ house to deliver a container of water received a rude welcome when she was pelted with raw eggs and splashed with paint.
Ratu Naga, whose real name is Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah, said she went to Jamal’s house in Ampang yesterday morning together with her husband and several people to deliver water, as he claimed that he had not showered for days due to the water cut.
She said the Sungai Besar Umno division chief was waiting with his supporters when she arrived at the house.
Syarul Ema said she told Jamal that she was only there to deliver water and not to pick a fight.
“I told him that since he hadn’t taken a bath for four days, I decided to send a large water container to him,” she said.
She claimed that Jamal, however, thought that she was there to demonstrate in front of his house.
“Then someone threw buckets of coloured water at me together with raw eggs.
“There was a commotion and people were punching each other,” she said, adding that her husband got out of the car and blocked the punches.
Syarul Ema said she would lodge a police report over the incident.
