Najib visits Haron Din, golfer Shaaban
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak visited PAS spiritual leader Datuk Dr Haron Din at the National Heart Institute (IJN) on Tuesday.
Haron was admitted to the IJN last week after complaining of chest pains.
Bernama reported that the Prime Minister earlier visited Shaaban Hussin who was being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) after the national golfer was involved in an accident.
"Spent time visiting and talking to Ustaz Haron Din just now at the National Heart Institute after visiting Shaaban Hussin at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
"Let us pray together that Allah SWT looks after him and for his speedy recovery, Insya-Allah," said Najib on his Facebook account.
Najib also posted a photograph of himself talking to Haron at IJN.
Haron had previously received several treatments at IJN due to heart complications.
Shaaban sustained injuries after his superbike skidded near the Rawang south exit on the North-South Expressway at about 8.30am on Thursday.
He underwent surgery at HKL on Friday to have his leg amputated.
