TMJ Buys Souvenirs For Johor's Rivals Including A Pink Fan For Kelantan, Gets Surprising Reaction From Its Famous Sponsor
Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ) is never out of the limelight for long and his latest antics reportedly took place on his current trip to Europe.
A video which purportedly shows TMJ displaying the souvenirs he had thoughtfully picked out for his home team's rivals accompanied by tongue-in-cheek comments has gone viral, especially after the new sponsor for the Kelantan football team Datuk Seri Dr Hasmiza Othman posted it to her instagram with an equally eloquent reply.
The Pamoga Qu Puteh The Red Warriors (PQPTRW) main sponsor had replied with exaggerated graciousness in expressing her gratitude.
"Thank you TMJ for remembering me, what a gorgeous pink fan. That is a testimony of Qu Puteh's pink power.
"What should I get him in return? Wait for my 'gift'," said the cosmetics millionaire who is popularly known as Dr Vida.
According to media reports, Dr Vida will be leaving for Madrid on 14 March to visit the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and then proceed on to the United Kingdom to visit the historic Old Trafford stadium, to gather ideas towards improving her home team's stadium in Kota Baru.
Dr Vida had also shared the video to her Instagram account announcing to her fans the pink Spanish fan that TMJ got specially for her.
In the video footage, TMJ has a handful of items displayed on a table in front of him as he holds up and ceremoniously open a bright pink fan.
"I can't think of what to get for the Kelantan team. For the moment, I can only find this (he holds up a pink fan in the video clip). I think you know who this is for," he commented cheekily.
In the same video footage, TMJ also shows that he has found three other souvenirs for JDT's competitors, a cat for Sarawak, a wildebeest for Perak as well as an elephant for Pahang.
"I have a cat for Sarawak's supporters. I could not find a crocodile so I settled for a cat to symbolize Sarawak," he quipped.
Although the video was originally uploaded to the Brotherhood JOHOR Facebook page, it has since been removed.
