The 35th anniversary concert of rock band Search has been postponed indefinitely for the comfort of concertgoers due to construction works nearby Stadium Merdeka.
The event was supposed to be held on Apr 9 at the national stadium. Concert director Shamil Yusof said the event had to be postponed in view of safety concerns and comfort of all concertgoers.
He also clarified that the postponement was unrelated to rumour that ticket sales has been slow.
Vocalist Suhaimi Abdul Rahman, popularly known as Amy, said he was hoping that fans would accept news about the delay positively. "Organising a big concert such as this is not a small matter and comfortability of fans must be given priority," he said.
