Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque's grand imam passes away

SHAH ALAM: Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque's grand imam Ahmad Mustafa Mohd Sidin Al-Muqri, 39, passed away of heart complication this evening.

Ahmad Mustafa breathed his last at 9.07pm at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the National Heart Institute.

He was transferred to the National Heart Institute on Wednesday from Selayang Hospital where he was admitted after complaining of breathing difficulties.

Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Jais) director Ahmad Zaharin Mohd Saad in statement said those who wish to pay their last respect to Ahmad Mustafa can do so tonight at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque.



Jenazah Imam Besar Selangor, Allahyarham Ahmad Mustafa Mohd Sidin Al Murqi di tempatkan diruang tengah dewan bagi memberi peluang kepada orang ramai untuk memberi penghormatan terakhir kepada Allahyarham sebelum di kebumikan pada pagi ini.
