The police have sent an investigation paper pertaining to Ikatan Muslim Malaysia (Isma) president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman's (pic) statement that the Chinese were brought to then-Malaya as intruders, to the Attorney-General's Chambers.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh said the attorney-general would decide on the next course of action.
He said this at the handing-over of duties ceremony which saw Kuala Lumpur Courts Complex staff officer, ACP R. Munusamy appointed the new Sentul police chief, effective today.
Munusamy, 52, replaces ACP Zakaria Pagan who assumes the post of assistant director at the Bukit Aman Management Department (Police Pensioner Affairs).
The ceremony was held at the Sentul police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
Later, Munisamy told reporters he would endeavour to boost further the credibility of the Sentul police headquarters by curbing crime. – Bernama, June 26, 2014.
