Sultan Orders Probe Into Flying Kick Blog

Pic from theblaze.comSHAH ALAM: Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah ordered the police to investigate a blog which published a post by a Facebook user named 'Josephine Mary' who was believed to have mocked the Sultan and the Malay Muslims in the country.

A police report was made by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah’s escort officer, Asst. Superintendent Ahmad Roshisham Ahmad at the Section 6 police station around 3.48pm yesterday.

Ahmad Roshisham said, Sultan Sharafuddin ordered him to lodge a police report after he came across the posting at noon yesterday.

"Sultan Sharafuddin ordered me to open The Flying Kick blog, after he read a post ridiculing him and the Malay Muslims.

"The author of the blog uploaded Josephine Mary's Facebook account where several words of mockery were directed at the Sultan," he said.

Shah Alam’s chief police Assistant Comissioner Azisman Alias confirmed the report and said that an investigation is currently underway.
