He and six other Iranians, including a woman, as well as four Malaysians who included a married couple, aged between 22 and 42, were detained in several raids, resulting in the seizure of RM3 million worth of drugs, since last Feb 6.
Bukit Aman Narcotic Crime Investigation Department director Datuk Noor Rashid Ibrahim said police also uncovered two drug processing laboratories during the raids.

Noor Rashid said a local man was detained in the raid.
Following the arrest of the two suspects, he said police raided three houses in Cyberjaya and Jalan Ipoh two days later and arrested six men and a woman, all Iranians.
Several hours later, police raided a house at Jalan Ampang where they also uncovered a drug processing laboratory , he added.
He said the seizures during the raid included 9.7kg of syabus crystal, 11.6kg of syabu liquid, 1,100 ecstasy pills, 4.6kg of ephedrine powder and other chemical substances, as well as equipment to process drugs.
On the same day, police arrested a married couple at a house in Sungai Besi and seized two plastic packets containing 2.04kg of syabu which was found in a car parked in the compound of the house, he added.
He said police also seized RM213,308 and three vehicles, comprising a Toyota Vios, a Honda City and a Honda Jazz in the raids.
Those detained would be in remand for a week for investigation under Section 39 (B) of the Dangerous Drugs Act for drug trafficking.
On the locals who were detained, Noor Rashid said they included those who had been detained for gangsterism and drug-related offences. - BERNAMA
