CNY: Malaysians usher in the year of the horse

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians from all walks of life came together to celebrate and usher in the year of the horse at the national MCA Chinese New Year open house on Friday.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, dressed in red batik, was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, also in red, at the Wisma MCA headquarters.
He was greeted on arrival by MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai at around 10.15am.
Also present to welcome him were, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and wife Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman, MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and other Cabinet Ministers and Barisan Nasional component leaders.

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali were also seen at the event.
After arrival, Najib, who is also the Barisan Nasional chairman, was ushered up the stage with other top Barisan leaders to toss the 'Yee Sang'.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend Gerakan's Chinese New Year Open House Friday.
